Don't buy FORDS

Does this car look familiar to anyone. I barely recognized it when i had to pick it up. This is our Ford Escape that we haven't been able to drive for over 8 months. Last year, Spring 2007, we had our transmission replaced and had gotten a warranty for one year on it. Well that October, the transmission went out on us again and the place we got it fixed wasn't honoring the warranty. A very long battle with the company, having to transfer our car to different locations, fix things before they would replace it, and then they said they weren't going to. At the end of April and took it done to a dealership to just get a new transmission and pay the money. They had our car for over a month, and didn't even look at it, so we took it somewhere else. We finally got Dean's Transmission to fix it in just 4 days, and got to pick it up when we got back from California. The car is running very well, except for in all of this process of taking it to the dealership and Dean's, someone wrecked our car into something and didn't claim it. Oh and the air conditioning that we fixed last summer doesn't work anymore so we have to fix it again. This car just has not been the best for us, but we are glad to have the car back and something to drive. Hopefully it will keep running and not give us anymore expensive problems.
